So I'm not sure if anyone following me is into this kind of thing... but I haven't been able to upload ANYTHING to dA in a while so hey... hope you enjoy! 
As many who follow me on social media would know two games I've spent way too many hours in are minecraft and pokemon... so when I heard about pixelmon the pokemon based minecraft mod I naturally had to try it out. It... is... awesome.... if this had been released as a full game experience by nintendo with some better UI and a few tweaks it would've been well worth 60 bucks! Pokemon in the first person where the pokemon are actually out walking around you... and you can have your pokemon walk beside you too! .... AND YOU CAN PLAY WITH FRIENDS!
Well one thing led to another and as I was already pretty much stuck not standing up for long periods of time due to this flu, I decided wouldn't it be neat to remake the original Kanto region in the pixelmon mod. So! I loaded a new world, caught myself two evees and a raichu to evolve for protection, and quickly got to work!
My first goal was Professor Oak's lab. Right off the bat I've had to take a few artistic liberties. So far I've only taken these for three reasons... 1. to make the sizes work, 2. because of the limited blocks in 1.6.4 minecraft, or 3. because I was having fun with it. This was for the number 1 reason.
Sadly the pokemon overworld, though many things, was not very to scale... thus I've had to make a few changes so places like Professor Oak's lab would look like an actually large industrial building instead of something the same size as a small house. for the exterior I used yellow stained clay and both stone and clay bricks where needed. For the interior I used light wood planks and blue wool as the inside is actually a different colour than the outside
